‘His Energy Transforms the Team’: Sai Sudharsan Lauds Mohammed Siraj as Gujarat Titans’ Game-Changer in IPL 2025

Following a commanding eight-wicket victory over Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), Gujarat Titans’ (GT) opener Sai Sudharsan hailed pacer Mohammed Siraj as the team’s game-changer. Siraj, returning to the Chinnaswamy Stadium but this time in GT colors, delivered a fiery performance, claiming three crucial wickets that set the stage for GT’s successful chase of 170 runs.

In a video shared on the official IPL website, alongside GT’s batting coach Parthiv Patel, Sudharsan expressed his admiration for Siraj’s impact. “I only believe in Siraj bhai. He is a game-changer. The attitude and energy he brings, it changes the whole team. I enjoyed it. I had a feeling he would have a great game because he is a game-changer,” he stated.

Sudharsan also reflected on his own contribution to the match, scoring a solid 49 off 36 balls. “Feels great. Always great to contribute for the team and get those two points. The first two games they played really well. It is a great boost for us to beat the team which is in a good rhythm, and I hope we continue to play the way we play,” he added.

Currently, Sudharsan stands as the second-highest run-scorer in IPL 2025, having accumulated 186 runs across three matches with an impressive average of 62.00 and a strike rate exceeding 157. He also praised the GT team environment, noting, “It does not feel like an IPL set-up; it feels like a family.”

With this win, both RCB and GT now hold identical records in the season, each with two victories and one defeat, positioning them third and fourth, respectively, on the points table.
