Ashleigh Gardner (Australia)
Australia’s star all-rounder, Ashleigh Gardner, a record four-time recipient of the ICC Women’s Player of the Month award, finds herself in the running once more. Following her Women’s Premier League (WPL) campaign, Gardner played a pivotal role in Australia’s ODI series against Bangladesh in the latter part of the month.

With a score of 52 runs and eight wickets at an average of 8.62, Gardner was the standout performer across both teams. Her gutsy knock of 32 in the first ODI on a slow Mirpur wicket, followed by a stellar spell of 3/22, propelled Australia to a significant victory. She continued her wicket-taking form in the subsequent games, leading Australia to a clean sweep against Bangladesh and earning herself the Player of the Series accolade.
Maia Bouchier (England)
England’s middle-order batter, Maia Bouchier, has thrived since her promotion to the top of the order. This was particularly evident in the recent T20I series against New Zealand, where Bouchier topped the scoring charts with 223 runs at an average of 55.75.
She achieved her career-best score of 91 in the fourth T20I, including 12 fours and two sixes, propelling England to a total of 177. Despite falling short of a century, her innings set a record for the highest score by a visiting player in a women’s T20I against New Zealand in New Zealand.
Her innings played a crucial role in securing a match-winning total for England, giving them an unassailable lead in the series.

Bouchier’s consistent performances at the top of the order set a solid foundation for England throughout the series, earning her the Player of the Series in a dominant series win for England.
Amelia Kerr (New Zealand)
New Zealand’s Amelia Kerr, a previous Player of the Month award winner (February 2022), is hoping to replicate her success this time around.
The Kiwi all-rounder was among the top three run-scorers in the recently concluded series against England, with 114 runs from four innings, and was the second highest wicket-taker with six wickets from four games.
Despite New Zealand’s series loss to England (4-1), Kerr’s performances stood out. Her unbeaten 44 in the third T20I in Nelson, coupled with her 1/29 with the ball, played a key role in the White Ferns’ solitary series win.
