The Nassau County International Cricket Stadium is set to host its inaugural match on June 1, featuring a warm-up game between India and Bangladesh ahead of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024. Early bird tickets will be available for Nassau County residents, existing World Cup ticket-holders, and fans who have registered for pre-sale access from 10:00am EST on Wednesday. The remaining tickets will be released to the general public on Thursday at 10:00am EST.
To avail the pre-sale opportunities, fans will require an access code. Nassau County officials will email the pre-sale code to County residents. Those who have already secured World Cup tickets will receive their pre-sale code via email from T20 USA, Inc.
Fans interested in early access to tickets can sign-up for the pre-sale here.
For the general public, tickets will be available at tickets.t20worldcup.com from 10 a.m. on Thursday, 23 May.
“We’re thrilled to open this warm-up match to the public, and particularly pleased to offer another opportunity for local residents to witness international cricket in their backyard,” said T20 USA CEO Brett Jones. “Tickets and/or hospitality remain available for all matches at Nassau County International Cricket Stadium. We encourage fans to secure them while they last, to ensure a full house while hosting these exceptional athletes from around the globe.”
The official warm-up match fixtures for the entire ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 have been announced. Matches will be played from Monday 27 May to Saturday 1 June across the USA and at two venues in Trinidad and Tobago in the West Indies.
The 16 warm-up matches will be hosted at the Grand Prairie Cricket Stadium, Texas; Broward County Stadium, Florida and Queen’s Park Oval and Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Trinidad and Tobago.
Each warm-up fixture will be a 20-over match and will not carry international T20 status as teams will be allowed to field all members of their 15-player squad. Unlike the previous rights cycle, teams now have the option to play up to two warm-up matches depending on their arrival time at the event.
Only the match at Nassau County International Cricket Stadium and one match in the West Indies will be open to fans.
