International cricket stars from around the globe have showcased their skills in the recent Women’s Premier League (WPL), setting the stage for a thrilling ICC Women’s T20 World Cup later this year.
The upcoming Women’s T20 World Cup, the ninth edition of the 20-over cricket extravaganza, will be hosted by Bangladesh for the second time. The tournament is scheduled for September and October.
Several players who shone in the WPL are expected to make a significant impact at the Women’s T20 World Cup, having been among the top run-scorers and wicket-takers in the league. They will be aiming to carry their form into the prestigious ICC tournament.
