Mohammad Nabi Dethrones Shakib Al Hasan to Become Top ODI All-Rounder
Shakib Al Hasan’s long-standing reign at the top of the ICC Men’s ODI All-Rounder Rankings has come to an end, with Afghanistan’s seasoned player, Mohammad Nabi, claiming the No.1 spot.
Shakib had held the top position in 50-over cricket for an impressive 1739 days, from 7 May 2019 to 9 February 2024. This is the longest unbroken stretch anyone has had at the top of the ODI all-rounder rankings. However, Shakib’s ongoing injury concerns and Nabi’s recent form have resulted in a change at the top.
