Nassau County's Cricket Stadium: A Global Game-Changer Nearing Completion

Nassau County International Cricket Stadium Nears Completion

The Nassau County International Cricket Stadium, a world-class 34,000-seater arena in New York, is nearing completion. The latest timelapse reveals the finished playing surface area, marking a significant milestone in the stadium’s development.

Four drop-in pitches, cultivated with native Tahoma 31 Bermuda grass, have been carefully nurtured by Adelaide Oval Turf Solutions and US-based sports turf experts LandTek Group in Florida. These pitches have now been installed after a 1000-mile journey, facilitated by the ICC’s Official Global Logistics Partner, DP World.

The transformation of the site in Eisenhower Park over the past four months is remarkable, evolving from a grass field to a world-class cricket stadium. The north and south premium hospitality and media pavilions are nearing completion, promising a spectacular viewing and fan experience, coupled with world-class hospitality. The latest additions include the Cabana seats in the north pavilion and the Corner Club seats, featuring a private party area for a truly American experience.

The countdown is on for the inaugural match at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium, scheduled between 2014 champions Sri Lanka and South Africa on June 3. With limited general admission tickets available, this historic event is not to be missed.

Tickets, inclusive of food and beverage, are available for all games in Nassau County, including the much-anticipated India vs Pakistan match. Fans are encouraged to secure their place in history by visiting tickets.t20worldcup.com or emailing [email protected].
