Pakistan Announces Squad for White-Ball Tour of England
Leading the 17-member squad for Pakistan’s tour of England, Nida Dar will kick off the T20I series on 11 May, followed by the ODI series on 23 May.
The ODI series is part of the ongoing ICC Women’s Championship cycle, marking the final series featuring Pakistan. Currently ranked fifth with 16 points, Pakistan aims to improve their standing with eight wins out of 21 matches as they face England.
Most of the squad from the ongoing white-ball series against West Indies at home has been retained for the England tour, with the exception of Sidra Nawaz who has been dropped.
Notably absent is Bismah Maroof, who was initially named in the squad for the West Indies series but was unable to participate due to minor injuries sustained in a car accident on 5 April. Maroof announced her retirement from international cricket on 25 April.
