In a significant development, Pakistan’s team management has decided to release pacer Hasan Ali from the squad ahead of the England series. Hasan Ali, who was initially included as an injury cover for fast bowler Haris Rauf, will now continue his commitments in county cricket for Warwickshire.

Hasan’s latest appearance was in the third T20I against Ireland, where he bowled three overs, conceding 42 runs without claiming a wicket.

Throughout his career, the 29-year-old has claimed 60 wickets from 51 appearances in the T20 format, boasting an average of 24.26 and an economy rate of 8.45. The pace attack for Pakistan’s series against England will now comprise Abbas Afridi, Shaheen Afridi, Haris Rauf, Mohammad Amir, and Naseem Shah.

Meanwhile, Pakistan is yet to announce their squad for the upcoming ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, which will be held in the West Indies and the USA.
