Pakistan Releases Key Pacer Ahead of England Series
Fast bowler Hasan Ali, initially included in the squad as an injury cover for Haris Rauf, has been released by the Pakistan team management. The decision allows Hasan Ali to continue his commitments with county cricket for Warwickshire.
Hasan’s most recent appearance was in the third T20I against Ireland, where he bowled three overs and conceded 42 runs without taking a wicket.
Throughout his career, the 29-year-old has claimed 60 wickets from 51 appearances in the format, with an average of 24.26 and an economy of 8.45. Abbas Afridi, Shaheen Afridi, Haris Rauf, Mohammad Amir, and Naseem Shah will form Pakistan’s pace attack during their series against England.
The squad for the upcoming ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in the West Indies and the USA is yet to be announced by Pakistan.
