Pakistan’s Javeria Khan Ends Her 15-Year International Cricket Career

After a 15-year-long international career, Javeria Khan, one of Pakistan’s most accomplished cricketers, has announced her retirement. Khan has represented Pakistan in 228 international matches across all formats, amassing a total of 4903 runs, which includes two centuries and 25 half-centuries. The 35-year-old was also a proficient bowler, claiming 28 wickets with her right-arm off-spin.

Khan is the second-highest run-scorer for Pakistan in both white-ball formats, and she is the only player, apart from Bismah Maroof, to have scored more than 2000 runs in each format.
