Remarkable Progress of Nassau County International Cricket Stadium Unveiled
The construction of the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York has made significant strides. This stadium is set to host eight matches of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 in June. The latest timelapse reveals the swift construction of the stands and the pitch area, with just over a month left until the event commences.
The timelapse, released today, showcases the near completion of both the East and West Stands, including spectator seating across the entire stadium. The stadium is designed to accommodate more than 34,000 fans. The north and south premium hospitality and media pavilions are also on schedule, promising a spectacular viewing experience and world-class hospitality for all guests. The work on the modular stadium’s playing surface is progressing rapidly, with the turf outfield now laid and preparation work completed before the installation of the pitches begins next week.
With only 39 days left until the historic first match between 2014 champions Sri Lanka and South Africa at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium, fans are encouraged to secure their tickets now at tickets.t20worldcup.com.
Moreover, hospitality opportunities for Broward County Stadium in Florida and Grand Prairie Cricket Stadium, Texas have been launched. Fans have the unique opportunity to witness the World Cup opener on 1 June in Texas, a repeat of the first-ever international match USA against Canada, and Sri Lanka versus World Cup debutants Nepal in Florida’s first match on 11 June. Limited hospitality availability remains for all matches at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium, including the much-anticipated India versus Pakistan match.
