Shakib Al Hasan and Wanindu Hasaranga Share Top Spot in T20I All-Rounder Rankings
As the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup approaches, the competition for the top-ranked all-rounder intensifies. The latest update to the ICC Men’s T20 Player Rankings reveals a tie at the top.
With only 23 rating points separating the top five, Bangladesh’s Shakib Al Hasan and Sri Lanka’s captain Wanindu Hasaranga share the top spot. This development comes just over a fortnight before the start of the T20 World Cup.

Shakib’s rating points dropped by three following his performances in the last two matches of Bangladesh’s recent five-match T20I series against Zimbabwe. Hasaranga joins him at the top, with Afghanistan’s Mohammad Nabi trailing by just 10 rating points.
Zimbabwe’s Sikandar Raza moves up two places to fourth after strong performances against Bangladesh. South Africa’s Aiden Markram drops to fifth, just ahead of the Proteas’ T20 World Cup campaign.
Men’s T20I All-Rounder Rankings
The updated T20I rankings for batters also saw some changes. Two players from Ireland and a Pakistani dasher made significant strides following their series in Dublin.
Ireland’s Andrew Balbirnie climbed six places to 53rd for T20I batters after scoring 128 runs in three games against Pakistan. His teammate Harry Tector improved 12 spots to 69th after scoring 98 runs in the same series.
Men’s T20I Batter Rankings
Pakistan’s Fakhar Zaman, a hard-hitting left-hander, moved up four places to 57th on the updated rankings for T20I batters. His teammate Imad Wasim climbed 24 spots to tie for 52nd on the list for T20I bowlers and five spots to tie for 16th for T20I all-rounders after his economical bowling against Ireland.
Two Bangladesh pacers also made progress on the updated list for T20I bowlers. Right-arm pacer Taskin Ahmed moved up three places to 23rd, and Mustafizur Rahman climbed five spots to 25th after their impressive performances against Zimbabwe.
